Adventure Airsoft 3D Printed Airsoft Impact Grenades Part 2

Adventure Airsoft posted the second part of the video about 3D printed airsoft impact grenades for those interested in making their own... "This vid is a continuation from version 1 of the grenade which is still in use but moved onto a threaded top.

I explain the differences between both versions and show a comparison against a .209 primer in a Dynatex grenade.

If you're willing to experiment with design and printing techniques you can create something bespoke on your own. I hope this can encourage people to take the plunge in designing their own airsoft accessories with all of the free CAD software available now.

Onshape is free, online, doesn't require powerful computers and easy to learn. But the free subscription allows others to see your designs. I started with Onshape its quite intuitive allowing you to literally login anywhere on any device.

Tinker CAD, Is free and simple but more complex designs might need either Onshape or Fusion.

Fusion 360, Is also free for a non corporate account also allowing you to login anywhere as it keeps your work online. Easy to use probably has the largest community as they have the most experience.

The grenade:

  • 40 mm in diameter
  • 70 grams fully loaded ready to throw
  • Printed 100% infilled PLA for the body and 85% for the cap"
