Our reader, Paddyspoint, gave us another link to  a story at English-Russia, the Russian website in English (obviously). It is a Russian Sniper rifles galore with more photos in one page, as compared to some web sites and with some write-ups regarding these rifles. Paddyspoint wants the airsoft manufacturers to start producing some more variety with the Dragunov and its siblings. We so agree as we have stressed this before. The practicality of these rifles in airsoft is really good, and the SVDs produced for the airsoft market have been well-received.

We wonder why there was no follow-through among airsoft manufacturers as there are more varieties that can be produced along the SVD line. So I guess we have to repeat our request and here's the list of Russian Sniper rifles that they may want to plan. Though for me, I would like the SVU and the SVDK prioritized since they're the better-looking rifles in this list. But then, it's just me.  If somebody from Russia or former Eastern Bloc countries can provide some more details and specs for the manufacturers to go over, then they might just create something for the airsoft market.
