More fictional airsoft rifles please

Gungho Cowboy

Before you start booing and pelting me with tomatoes, hear me out. In our last GASP survey, there's an actual market for sci-fi and fantasy guns, with about 18% of our respondents saying that they prefer such. So those who dig video games or movies not based on period or contemporary weapons and want to have these replicated for airsoft, you're not alone.

There have been a few released in the market, such as the Thunder Maul from Jing Gong,  and the Alien US Colonial Marine Corps M41a Pulse Rifle conversion kit that you can build using a TM or CYMA M1A1 Thompson airsoft gun. But for now, there's one video game gun that caught my attention and I'm wondering if somebody already has made a DIY replica for airsoft of the Mass Effect M8 Avenger Assault Rifle

Well, there's one built, which unfortunately, is a prop which you can use for a sci-fi and fantasy convention, or for some parties to show your piece to some girls. Volpin Props, which is a prop design site by Harrison Krix, known already for his Daft Punk helmet, did build it and the details are brillant. You can click on the photo below to see how you can make one for yourself.

If someone already has made an airsoft-firing replica one of this assault rifle, we would be happy you to hear about it.

It's a slow start of the week for us at Popular Airsoft, so might as well that would jump start, as Optimus Prime and Masterchief just got back from Groundzero, still having sore bodies, processing the photos they took, and taking the day off as it's a bank holiday in the UK today.
