Meet The New Member Of The Roni Family

OptimusPrime

If you have enjoyed the Roni Pistol Conversion Kit for your Glock Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistols, perhaps you will enjoy this latest addition to the Roni series by Command Arms Accessories (CAA). The Roni Recon or RONIRG1 is a shorter version of the Roni Pistol Conversion Kit, allowing you to convert your glock pistol into a compact, SMG-like, gun. It might look like a mini-UZI, but twice the fun: you use it two-handed with this conversion kit, or remove the Glock pistol and use it as a normal pistol.

There is no replica yet made available for the airsoft market, but we're definitely sure that there are companies in the Far East already planning in making this, and they will move fast like before. We've written about the original Roni and in no time, kits for the airsoft market were already available with minimum modifications to drop-in their Glock pistols.

This shorter version will allow you to handhold your Glock 25, 26, or 27 with both hands, allowing a more stable style of shooting. With 9.5 inch rails thougout the whole length on top, you can mount optics or front and rear sights with a shorter rail at the front-end to allow you to install either a laser pointer or a bipod, if you wish to install one.

The difference between the orignal Roni G126 and the Roni Recon is that the latter doesn't have a telescoping stock. The rear end of the Roni Recon comes with a sling mount, and at first glance, the Roni Recon, with a Glock pistol dropped in, can be easily mistaken for an UZI submachine gun. I'm sure nobody would complain with that observation.

The real deal version costs US$349. If you are in a hurry, you can get this from CAA's online store, and you might have to do some modding in order to fit your Glock airsoft pistol. But if you wait for just a little bit longer, there might be a replica made for the airsoft market very soon.
