Meet The G&G CM16 Gas Blowback Family

Gungho Cowboy

G&G Armament are very much aggressive in the past year or two, releasing AEGs that are very much affordable and feature their electric blowback mechanism. Their CM16 electric blowback AEGs have been particularly successful, allowing players on a budget to get good quality plastic AEGs. With this line, they decided to go to create the CM16 Gas Blowback M4 line which are also affordable gas blowback airsoft rifles.

All of the CM16 GBB versions have Stainless/Aluminum/Steel/Zinc/Plastic/Nylon/Fiber materials and can handle Green Gas, firing at 90-120ms (295 to 393fps) depending on the operating temperature. The M4 magazine available can hold 30 rounds. All models will be available in Black and Desert Tan (DST) versions.

With G&G being committed to producing gas blowback rifles, there are just a few major airsoft manufacturers who are still hold-outs in the gas blowback rifle market, which are namely Classic Army, ICS, and Tokyo Marui. However, we are seeing signs that Tokyo Marui is also going into the gas blowback rifles, to try and get the leadership position as they are much predominant in gas blowback pistols. Their first foray is the MP7A1 Gas Blowback SMG, which looks like to be their "dipping their toes" in the gas blowback rifle segment. If successful, they might move into the bigger and longer rifles. As for ICS, we do not really have any idea if they have plans.

Anyway, getting back to G&G Armament, here are the members of their CM16 Gas Blowback Family:
