Mario Warfare Part 3: In Donkey Kong Country

OptimusPrime

It's been over six months since the last release of Mario Warfare from Beat Down Boogie as they had to resort to crowdfunding at Kickstarter to fund the next webisodes of Mario Warfare as the series is now getting lots of viewers online. The first two episodes already have over 4 million views combined so tapping on such number of viewers enabled to get the funding they required.

Mario Warfare Part 3 is in Donkey Kong Country, in reference to one of the Donkey Kong Game titles, with Donkey Kong Country released for the Nintendo Super NES in 1994. But in Mario Warfare Part 3, Princes Peach, escaping when her kingdom got invaded, finds herself in an unfamiliar territory where she was then under attack by Donkey Kong. She almost didn't survive until she got recognized as royalty by the Gorilla.

Meanwhile, Mario and Luigi, also escaping, are also going through Donkey Kong Country where they stumbled into a Smash Club, a group unknown in this episode.

We still don't have to tell you the whole story of Part 3 but suffice to say, it's a build-up to the next webisodes of Mario Warfare, as long as the Beat Down Boogie crew has the budget. Watch it and you'll find it to be the slowest of the episodes now online:

We don't know when Princess Peach and Donkey Kong will cross paths with the Mario Brothers. But for sure it's more of acquisition of skills by the Princess and Brothers, with the Princess undergoing "Gorilla Warfare" training with Donkey Kong as her mentor.

A treat for those who have been following the Mario Warfare series, Beat Down Boogie also uploaded the making of Parts  1 and 3.  All the airsoft gun props in the series have been provided by eHobby Asia of Hong Kong.
