Mario Warfare Part 2 Now Up. Meets Funding Goals

OptimusPrime

The reception of the 1st part of Mario Warfare was pretty much warm, especially among the Popular Airsoft readers. With the 2nd part of Mario Warfare already online, will there be more episodes for this movie parody? What the makers of the webseries, Beat Down Boogie, are relying on, are the responses of their viewers, and what's more those responses are translated into actual funding pledges to produce more.

Since Beat Down Boogie is an independent film outfit, they do not have any big production budget like the big studios making Hollywood films and more on the goodwill of their viewers and sponsors who happen to like what they do. Mario Warfare is totally dependent on funding from their viewers and some sponsors such as eHobby Asia who happen to throw in production gear and stuff for them to make their Mario Warfare project a reality.

The good news is, the funding goal of Mario Warfare at Kickstarter, which is US$20,000, has already been reached and is now hitting the US$28k mark as of this writing. Even if the goal has already been achieved, do not stop from pledging yet as the more funding is available, the more they can devote to production and crew and further improve the quality of the next episodes or perhaps any excess can be devoted to another project of theirs that needs funding.

Furthermore, what is also important from Beat Down Boogie is to receive feedback from you regarding the episodes so they enhance their storytelling even more. At least YouTube can take in feedback from the viewers so any constructive criticism or positive feedback can be posted at once for them to consider in creating new twists, turns, and funny scenes.

As for the 2nd Part of Mario Warfare, we'd rather have you watch the video below than us giving you a quick narrative on what this episode is all about. But we're looking forward to seeing Donkey Kong in the third part now that the funding is available:
