From the same indie outfit that brought to us (and entertained us) Modern War Gear Solid, Beat Down Boogie have finally released part 1 of Mario Warfare online and it does exceed our expectations of a web, bootstrapped, production.  This is not your typical video game movie, as the characters from Mario Bros: Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach go to war. You'll see Toad doing such acts that we can say does justice to the Mario Bros. franchise if these video game character actually use guns.

Unlike Modern War Gear Solid, Beat Down Boogie  plan to have an even longer series of Mario Warfare with already two episodes shot and processed. Episode 2 will hit soon, but for the following episodes, these will be dependent on your continued support. This continued support should be translated as financial pledges that will fund the future episodes. The web series do have a very strong potential as evidenced by Part 1 as it is reaching almost 1 million views on YouTube, four days after its release. Not as big as Gangnam Style, but for a webseries, it is indeed phenomenal to get this number of views in a few days.
