A reader from Japan forwarded to us a link which for fans of Japanese action movies would want to have it come to fruition. This one involves airsoft guns as props, a nice sounding soundtrack, and real-life  Japanese high school girls who shoot their enemies left and right in their school uniforms. Yep, it's the Japanese movie formula alright and the creator has gone to crowdfunding to make this movie happen with the help of his young and cute cast.

Soesimax is a Japanese actor, director, and reporter who has an active YouTube Channel who wants to create a short action movie involving Japanese high school girls in uniform who shoot it out with baddies armed to the teeth. The movie, called SGS9R (School Girl Section 9 Realise) is a collaboration by Soesimax together with the high school girls from Osaka who have such great dance moves and perhaps they also have some vocal talents but wasn't shown in the promo video.

Whilst it’s a short movie, the production looks serious as they look into filming in various locations. Some sites look to be airsoft game sites like those reported by our friends from Hyperdouraku. The soundtrack for the movie is made by a local band called "Minor School" which is heavy into rock.  All the actors, actresses, production, and location will be in the Kansai Region which is the historical and cultural heart of Japan.

Once done the movie will premiere on YouTube, but disc copy will also be distributed to those who have supported funding this short movie. If you are interested in supporting the  project, you can find it at the Japanese crowdfunding site, Campfire, where it has already raised JPY340,500 out of total target of JPY1,000,000 (around US$10,230) and with 41 days to go as of this writing.
