IWA 2013 & Outdoor Classics: Enforce Tac Coverage

Dom

A year went by pretty quick. It's IWA & Outdoor Classics time again but to be exact it's only Enforce Tac for today's report which started yesterday and it is the precursor to the main event. The 40th  IWA & Outdoor Classics Show kicks off this morning. The main difference between IWA and Enforce Tac is that manufacturers are available to display full auto firearms since this exhibition is for Military and LE personnel. This year nearly 40 manufacturers displayed their products on the floor.

I will start with the one closest to my heart: GIS Technologies.

The Hungarian company recently attended their first ever trade show in Abu Dhabi and now they're here. They've used Airsoft products to showcase their firearm accessories. WE Glocks and Umarex MP5s were on display, upon my arrival the team just assembled the first Glock mag coupler, and let me tell you that thing is pretty sturdy and it is also nice to look at as well. As you can see on the images the coupler works with both real and Airsoft magazines without modification although there is no gas valve port hole on the bottom (but that might change in the future!). The GIS staff were extremely helpful explaining everything in detail about their MP5 rail, rail cover and forward grip. The rail cover is made out of plastic instead of rubber and it's rather flat providing firm grip on the MP5 or any gun with a quad rail for that matter. Feast your eyes boys and girls I think we will hear from this company again pretty soon.

At Heckler & Koch we were able to look at two versions of the G28, the MG4 and a new training pistol which was designed by H&K and Feinwerkbau together and sadly only available for MIL/LE organizations. :(  The gun works on compressed air instead of Green gas or CO2.

I simply love the T1 mount they've come up with on the G28.

Sig Sauer had a few backup 9mm pistols as new products plus two versions of their MPX on display. ME WANT MPX AIRSOFT GBB. The upper receiver is so much nicer than the original M4s.

FN Herstal didn't have new toys on display. Some SCARs, less lethal awkwardness and the FN2000.

Glock had zero interesting stuff. I was waiting to check out the 30S but the Glock rep informed me: the 30S will displayed at the IWA floor since that's aimed at consumer market. It looks like they don't care about cops and SpecOps concealed carry.

At Schmeisser's booth we were able to spot some PMAG wannabes and interesting accessories on a Molot 12 gauge. Their AR grip and silencer looks pretty as well.

Well, this is what you guys get on the first day. Now I need to find our friends from Public Enemy Hong Kong and show them around. There are loads of photos taken at Enforce Tac which you can view at the Popular Airsoft Facebook Page.
