It's Back To Kickstarter for BLACK Season 2

Logan

Coming off the success the raising US$10,000 in 2012 to produce "Black" The Webseries which was released last year, Frank T. Ziede has come back to Kickstarter with an even more ambitious goal of raising a bigger amount for Season 2 --- US$50,000 of it from those who liked the first season and would like to see even more.

If the Black Season 2 interests you, but haven't seen the first season, you can watch it in its entirety below:

With a budget of US$10,000 for the first season, Ziede was able to produce several episodes. But for Season 2, the amount is 5 times bigger than the original due to requests of viewers for a longer, more in-depth and more action. But all of those will require an even bigger production that even  I would doubt that 50k may not just be enough (unless more people at Kickstarter get generous and give more than the target amount).

Season 2 will have an even bigger cast according to Ziede:

We have reenlisted Mikal to reprise his role as Carnahan as well as adding some new talent to the series. We are proud to introduce Daniel Betances (CSI MIAMI, NYPD BLUE, THE UNIT) and John T. Woods (VHS 2, 24, HOUSE M.D., NCIS). Both are extremely talented actors that will add a lot to our already power-packed cast. Returning to the show is Howard "Mad Max" Mullen (Member of the U.S. Army Ranger Hall of Fame), Andre Jackson (Former Recon Marine) and Mark Golden (Former U.S. Navy SEAL).

For most airsoft players, the most familiar name in the list is "Mad Max" Mullen, who is active in airsoft with Tac Milsim and the Operation Lion Claws Military Simulation Series (OLCMSS).

Season 1 was the hunt for some missing warheads and they had a to track a man who held a grudge. Season 2 is the about Cyber Terrorism in which the new team goes on  a global hunt for a group of mercenaries intent on delivering a package to the U.S. that would "cripple the world's financial markets in an instant."

If you think the story is compelling enough, then be prepared to make your pledge to fund Season 2. You can pledge from US$7 to US$10,000 depending on how generous you are and seriousness to see that Black Season 2 gets funded. Apart seeing Season 2 gets funded, there are some goodies that await you depending on the level of your pledge, such as the BLACK Morale Patch, T-Shirt, or the BLACK Survival Band from Refactor Operator Tactical.

With 40 days to go before the funding project is over, supporters have more than enough time to share the Kickstarter Project through social media to get more pledges. US$50,000 may sound like a big amount but with a good base of supporters who like the project, it may not be a tall task to achieve.
