It's Finland this time for the next Airsoft IPSC Match. Announced during the Airsoft Surgeon European Championships 2013 held last October, we were finally able to get more information on the upcoming match. This is an event when the best airsoft practical shooters in Europe, plus other highly experienced Hong Kong shooters based in Europe will come together to best each other in a game of speed and shooting skills.

Sponsored by RedWolf Airsoft, the Airsoft Surgeon, Ultimate Airsoft Custom, Airsoftnurkka, and KuulaKoJootti, this event on the 12th to the 13th of April 2014, in Nokia, Finland. And yes, if you will ask if this is the town where the mobile phone giant Nokia gets its name from, though their main HQ is in Espoo which is near Helsinki, the capital.

The event is an NOSA Action Air Level 3 Match + SM that will have the following divisions: Open, Standard, and Classic,  with awards categories for General, Junior, Lady, Senior, Super Senior. The registration has been open since 17 November 2013 and will end on the 28th of February 2014. The Entry fees are: 40 euros, Lady and Junior 30 euros, team fee of 30 euros, with a late registration fee of 60 euros.

Travelling to the Nokia, the nearest airport is Tampere-Pirkkala Airport for those travelling by air or they can take the train from Helsinki. Others may decide to go via coach.

Whilst the main event is the Level 3 Action Air Match for all registered shooters, English shooters will be able to shoot for the English Championships.
With just 10 days remaining before the registration closes, interested shooters can contact the organisers immediately to book their slots in their respective divisions and categories.  So far already 90 slots are already reserved, and I guess there are more expected to sign up in the following days.

Depending on scheduling, we might be covering this event. If we will be able to, time and budget permitting, then we might see you in Finland come April.
