Hyperdouraku At The JASG Toy Gun Fiesta

Gungho Cowboy

Yas of Hyperdouraku has got somethiing for all of us after he attended the JASG Toygun Fiesta that was held in Tokyo last Sunday, 17 July 2011. What he cautions about these KSC products that were presented during the show are still pre-releases, and they may not exactly be readily available within this year. But these are KSC products that you will be interested in as these represent the new gas blowback airsoft guns from KSC after the release of the KSC M4A1 GBB-R.

KSC AK74M

KSC follow up on their M4A1 gas blowback with this AK74M GBB-R. This has an aluminium die-cast receiver. The bolt is also made of aluminium. It has relative good blowback and you can see the hammer after the bolt in the gap when the fire selector switch is moved to different firing modes.

The magazine has an outer case made of zinc die-cast resin and the valves are made like their System 7. It has a magazine capacity of 42 rounds.

The KSC AK74M is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2012. As for the pricing, none has been mentioned yet, but expect this to more expensive than the KSC M4A1 GBB-R. We are not sure if existing GP-25 airsoft grenade launchers can be mounted to this.

KSC HK45

The latest KSC gas blowback airsoft pistol. The design almost replicates the real HK45. The HK45 is the lastest HK pistol the uses the .45 ACP with a polymer frame and is very popular in the United States.

The KSC HK45 version does not sport the HK trademarks, pending licencing agreement from UMAREX and thus, they have a pre-release view sans the markings. It is expected that it will have the realistic engraving. Every detail in this airsoft pistil is very realistic with the safety lever on the left side that can de-cocked. There is no half-cock position which you can find in other .45 ACP pistols. There ia  serial number under the rail and warning message to check the owner's manual just like the real thing.

The magazine capacity is 29+1.

KSC Sig Sauer SP2022M

This has an ambidextrous safety and not much details written about it by Hyperdouraku. It has full trades, which means it will be ready to go into production much faster than the HK45. The magazine's capacity is 22+1.

KSC M4 Magpul Edition

This has an aluminium die-cast receiver with the lower receiver having the Magpul trades, including the fire selector indicators. The whole GBB-R is pure Magpul, with the MOE furniture and the MBUS rear sight.

The magazine, just like the KSC AK74M, has a realistic texture with the body made of zinc die-cast resin. The capacity is 38 rounds.

KSC STI Tactical. STI EDGE and M4 CQB-R

Not much has been said about the STI Tactical gas blowback airsoft pistol but it will be released before the end of 2011. The magazine capacity is 26+1. The STI EDGE has an improved mechanism with the System 7. The magazine capacity is 29+1 and the slide is made of ABS.

The KSC M4 CQB has a free float rail system that is fully CNC'd.

Upcoming Products from Maruzen

There are also interesting products that will be released by Maruzen. One is the P99 Carbine Conversion Kit, which is basically a AAC Roni Carbine Conversion kit for the Walther P99. The other products from Maruzen are the "Collector's Edition" to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of Walther. These are collectible P38, P99, and PPK/S.

Thus, something to look forward to from two Japanese airsoft companies for the rest of 2011 and early 2012. More photos of these products can be found at the Hyperdouraku blog.
