HQ Bunker & SEA Action Air Shooters Earthquake Relief Drive

OptimusPrime

An earthquake of 6.8 magnitude hit the central part of the Philippines, off the island of Negros, last 6 February 2012. Houses were flattenedd, roads damaged, and remote villages were buried in landslide. Rescue workers from volunteer organisations, local governments, and the Philippine Armed Forces are frantically digging out survivors from the landslide affected areas with the death toll now rising to 39 as of this writing with 88,000 survivors, 33,000 of which are left homeless after the earthquake struck.

Action Air (airsoft practical shooters) from the area dropped whatever they are doing and immediately launched an earthquake relief drive to help those who have no homes to go home to and and are stuck in shelters before the authorities will allow them back to their areas, or when accommodations are found for them whilst they conduct rebuilding of their homes and dreams.

Led, by Ken Scales of HQ Bunker, Southeast Asian Action Air Shooters have been raising funds and buying essentials to distribute to the quake survivors. What they need to deliver right now are gallons of drinking water, and at least a donation of Php260.00 (roughly US$6.00) is needed to buy 4 gallons and they need lots of it. They have already raised and distributed over Php 100,000 (US$2,354) and are still raising more.

If want to help out in the relief efforts, you can contact Ken Scales at the IPSC Action Air Practical Shooting Facebook Page. They are accepting donations via Paypal, Western Union, or Bank Transfer. Whatever is raised will be devoted to helping survivors get by as their livelihood and homes have been destroyed. They will appreciate it much if you can help spread the word around.
