He'll Be Back With Daenerys Targaryen In "Terminator: Genesis"

Logan

The Terminator Series and Game of Thrones fans, which means all of us, have something to look forward to next year. "Terminator: Genesis" will start filming in April 14 as announced during the Arnold Sports Festival held in Ohio last weekend. The movie slated for a July 2015 release, will have Arnold Schwarzenegger back with Game of Throne's Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

The former Governator will be playing as a T-800 again while Clark will be Sarah Connor and the Kyle Reese character will be played by Jai Courtney of Spartacus. According to Schwarzenegger, he finds the script as "Fantastic" and he cannot wait to start filming the latest title in the Terminator Franchise. He has not appeared in any of the recent Terminator projects while performing his duties as California Governor from 2003 to 2011. Since then he has been appearing in movies such as the Expendables, in commercials and charity projects.

The plot of "Terminator: Genesis" is still sketchy as little has been revealed. But with the mention of the original characters such as  Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese, this title is situated between the original Terminator movie and the second one "Terminator 2: Judgement Day."  according to Moviehole. Well, since they can travel in time in the series, it's no surprise that they go back in time again to refresh the story.

Here's more to what Moviehole says about the movie:

Firstly, we will indeed be revisiting the events of the original 1984 film again. The ‘Terminator’ from the future will arrive on earth, attack some punks (keen to see who they get to play ‘Bill Paxton’), and then slaughter his way through a bunch of Sarah Connors’ – until he finds the correct target. And all the characters that appeared in the Cameron original, like Detective Hal Vukovich (played by Lance Henriksen in the original), Lieutenant Ed Traxler (played by Paul Winfield way back when), Sarah’s roomie Ginger (Bess Motta in the ’84 film) and, yep, even Pugsley the Iguana, return. So, yep, we’ll likely get to see Schwarzenegger back in the leather jacket and cool sunglasses he wore in the original. And, of course, Kyle Reese (Courtney) volunteers to go back to 1984 and save Sarah – just as he did first time around. But don’t expect everything to work out like it did in the original.. something is going to play out different.

It's still over a year to go before we get to see the Terminator: Genesis. But we'll be expecting a lot Arnie quotes being uttered by fans as they await to see Arnold Schwarzenegger back in the franchise. Here's a video from IGN about the movie to make you want for more information:
