GPNVG-18 For Airsoft Continued: Spartan Airsoft Compared To Level-3

Gungho Cowboy

The story on the GPNVG-18 dummies for cosplay or part of the loadout props in Airsoft still continues. Whilst we have posted the story comparing both the FMA and Spartan Airsoft GPNVG-18 Dummy NVGs, with the Spartan Airsoft having significant advantages over the FMA, detail and ability to see through the goggles clearly, our friends from Public Enemy and Bunny Workshop who are taking orders of the Spartan Airsoft version, have sent to us photos posted by Spartan Airsoft comparing their dummy NVG to the real deal: the Level-3 GPNVG-18.

The photo above is taken by The Night Vision Company (TNVC) as they wrote a good review of the GPNVG-18 as posted at the AR-15 forums. We highly suggest that you follow the link to understand further about the NVG especially what's the purpose of having two tubes for each eye

Spartan Airsoft spent a lot of time researching about the GPNVG-18 and are taking their time to release the product pending adjustments to the product to ensure that the detailing and scale of their product is almost exact to the real thing. The FMA version was a "rushed" dummy just to be first to market.

Spartan Airsoft's development is solely based on photos they can find on the product online and thus they can be forgiven if their design is a bit off. But the photos they have furnished show that their effort to be very detailed and also promise to be weigh lighter than the FMA dummy. No sense of going around in a dummy NVG weighing you down due to poor research by its maker.

We'll let you decide if the details of the Spartan Airsoft NVG-18 is close enough to the Level-3 GPNVG-18. The photos show which were referenced by Spartan Airsoft in making their dummy version.
