First Person Shooter video games developers nowadays are going for more realism in their titles and thus, are teaming up with firearms manufacturers, tactical gear makers, and tactical accessory companies to give that exacting detail to their graphic rendering of characters and weapons to achieve that realistic look. Eletronic Arts, with Danger Close, have brought in U.S. Optics for the upcoming Medal of Honor Warfighter title which hit game stores later this year.

The product placement made by the companies in video game titles help expose their brand and products to a good number of gamers and actual firearms enthusiasts. One example was the FN SCAR-L which appeared on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and became famous among airsoft players who just grabbed the first SCAR-L airsoft replica that became available in the market. Just like action movies, video game titles are influencing the tastes and wants of players, and these are wise moves by any respectable company to be exposed in video games.

In some of the photo shoots for the promotion of MoH Warfighter, you'll find U.S. Optics shown, as they brought some of their best scopes to be used in the game and according to the MoH blog, also includes the ST-10 which is traces its roots to the Unertl MST-100 that the company used for the USMC, allowing the sniper to make accurate shots at 1000 yards.

More companies and their products used in the game will be featured at the MoH Blog as they prep up their fans to the release of the MoH Warfighter.
