Hold your horses gents! We got several leads on this story at almost the same time. Something must have gone haywire as this Limited Edition iLLEST/Phase 5 Personal Defense Weapon (Real Steel) is one of those custom guns that you can say to be totally blinged out. You may like it or not, but when I looked at my custom PDI Patriot M4 and again looked at the photos of this one, it made my Patriot looked like a discarded mistress when her man went off to find younger and sexier women.

The iLLEST/Phase 5 PDW is not for sale from just every gun store that you want to visit in the US as this is a limited edition pimped-out gun with about 10 to be built (or already built) for customers who want something really different and still lethal. This is built on AR15 components to be a high performance Close Quarters Combat Pistol. This is made by the little known division of Phase 5, called Phase 5 Weapons Division™.

Having the weapon built is done via private appointment. If you are someone famous or belong to a special group of men whom attention by Phase 5 is given, they will fly you in to build the PDW according to your personal specifications. These are highly customised to fit the customer and they are trained and tested far from the paparazzi. This was built together with iLLEST/Fatlace of Mark Arcenal and Justin Williams.

Would you want an airsoft version of this? I don't know of Phase 5 would be interested in it but who knows, having the right cash, contacts, and perhaps some popularity would make them have a private appointment with you. But if not, perhaps this can be just the same business model if you want to build a custom airsoft gun business that will put all the bling that your airsoft customers would want included.

If you will be one the lucky ones to have one of these, you might want to think about your loadout too to go with it. Just your mere tactical gear won't do justice when you carry this weapon with you.
