How about? A free downloadable full version of Battlefield 3 via Origin courtesy of Electronic Arts. Released in 2011, Battlefield 3 is a successful title in the Battlefield Franchise. We don't know why this intensive FPS video game is offered on the "On The House" promotion of Origin, but this release is more for recruiting more users using the Origin client, and a captured userbase to which they can sell video game titles to.

With the ongoing efforts of the developers to fix the issues with Battlefield 4, leaving no new announcement of a Battlefield or Medal of Honor title for this year, Battlefield 3 perhaps can help placate some players who have not tried the old title to defecting to other clients. Also, to download this, one is required to have an Origin Client, so you'll need to create an account and get the client before you can the free Battlefield 3 and other "On The House" free games, apart from the for-a-fee video game titles.

The downloadable BF3 is the standard version and we don't know if the other DLCs for it can be download, or the use might be persuade to cough up some bucks to download these, and thus still some revenues that be squeezed even with a 3 year-old video game title.

However, if you're intending to avail of this freebie at Origin, you better do it quick as this "On The House" offer is only good until the 3rd of June, and that means it will end by tomorrow. So spread the word around for those you know if they have not tried BF3, at least they get to play on what will soon become a classic FPS title and as long as their hardware meet the system requirements.

I know that you may want  BF4 as the free download, but then with all the bugs that need to be fixed, you may be happy to play BF3.
