Day 4 At The IWA & Outdoor Classics 2014

OptimusPrime

It was hard to get up even after having almost 9 hours of sleep. I wasn't really feeling ok in the morning of the 9th of March. Whilst the meds I got from Mike's friend was enough to get me through the Airsoft Meetup, what my body needed was sleep, lots and lots of sleep. Having decided that I already had enough sleep to keep me ok on my way back home, I checked out and rushed to Nuremberg Messe to do the final rounds and come up with the IWA & Outdoor Classics 2014 Day 3 report.

Arriving at the Messe, only fewer people remained. Perhaps most people have gone through the doors in the past three days and that they are now back at their day jobs given that it was a Monday. Even at the press room, it wasn't as busy as usual and I found a workstation to be alone and upload the Day 3 report.

Dom was already doing some final wrap-up for the day. He will have to drive back home for 8 hours, as he lives in Hungary. Just some final instructions with him as there will be some review stuff he needs to go over. He visited Jolly Softair, which is a wholesale airsoft company based in Italy and he found another interesting Italian company called Termotex which makes carbon heating vests that is powered by battery to keep you warm when needed.  Other than those, I had to let him go on his way as it was already noontime and he had a long drive ahead of him.

Having 30 minutes left on my watch before I take the taxi on the way to the airport, I visited some of the booths which have accommodated us such as G&G, Gunfire, and RedWolf Airsoft. At the G&G booth were Marie and Keith of Airsoft Odyssey, whom I had a quick chat and photo op earlier. I discussed with Sylvia about their 2014 Calendar (schedule) given that they have some big plans for airsoft competitions. We have to factor in events given that we have limited budget and people and thus, we cannot cover everything in the airsoft scene.

However tired I was, even if my body was already begging that we go home, I had to say my thanks to those who have made it convenient for us including the staff of the Messe at the Press Room and friends from the airsoft media and communities. Much as I wanted to go back to the Hotel and just extend my stay so I can sleep further, there's still work for me to do, so off to the airport for me.

Since arriving, I actually wrote this report after having over 10 hours of sleep at home; and my body say it's still not enough. So please expect some delays in reporting as I try to recover from an exciting week. There are still videos to edit and upload.

Dom and I hope that you had enjoyed reading our IWA & Outdoor Classics 2014 report. This is one of our best ways to make sure our readers are loyal to us.
