The marketing people of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 are now at full throttle as they follow through with their new tradition of having celebrities star in their commercials. Last time it was Kobe Bryant and Jimmy Kimmel for the COD Black Ops Live Trailer. COD MW3 feature Sam Worthington, Jonah Hill and Dwight Howard in the "The Vet & The n00b" live trailer.

So far, since its release last 04 November, it has taken up over half a million views. With their tag line "There's a soldier in all of us," the Modern Warfare franchise wants to go everyone, not only the hardcore gamers, to go and buy the video game when it gets released on 08 November.

But will COD MW3 continue the tradition of racking up record sales even with the Battlefield 3 FPS video game released just two weeks before it? We'll only known when the receipts have been tallied and see if it held back the onslaught of BF3 with its nicely made Frostbite Engine. So far, I have just finished the campaign series of BF3 and about to get into the multiplayer part.
