Airsoft weapons give police a scare

Gungho Cowboy

Oh well, not again. Two teens got caught and lectured by Police bearing airsoft guns within the city limits which is against the ordinance in Aspen. The parents of these kids were said to be "upset" by what happened, but why blame the police who were just doing their duties? I call it "poor parenting" as they have to admonish their children about existing laws in their locales. They should consider themselves lucky that their kids were not shot by police and instead were educated and eventually released.

This should always be a lesson to all parents who allow their children take possession of airsoft guns. For obvious reasons, airsoft should not be shown in public, especially at night where there is a likely danger to the lives --- of irresponsible persons making a show-off that they own an airsoft gun.
