Airsoft Surgeon 2013 European Championship Just A Week Away

OptimusPrime

Next weekend is an important weekend for many airsoft practical shooters in Europe who have registered with the Airsoft Surgeon 2013 European Championship being organised by the Airsoft Surgeon, RedWolf Airsoft UK, The Shop at the Grange, and AIPSC UK. As far as we know, this will be the first European-wide airsoft practical shooting tournament.

Whilst the event is slated to happen on the 19th to the 20th of October at The Grange in Coventry, England, the 18th will have a RO Pre-Match. The main event will see the different divisions and categories putting players through 16 course stages which are shown below. If you want to download a view the Course of Fire per stage, click here to download the PDF file as provided by RedWolf Airsoft.

The Divisions which are Open, Standard, and Classic (1911 Single Stack), will have different categories, which are for Males, Ladies, and Juniors (11 to 18 years old) and we hope to see to some fine shooting in these categories.

Ammo/BBs to be used during the tournament are .30g BBs which are sponsored by MadBull Airsoft and Gunfire. This means that all shooters will not worry about BBs as these are covered for free by the sponsors. The targets to be used in the tournament will be from V Dynamics Supersport of Belgium who will be present as well during the tournament.

As for the prizes, winners will be receiving trophies and the Airsoft Surgeon will be bringing surprises as well.

Mike Cripps of Elite Shooting Centre and Elite Custom has created a custom Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 Gas Blowback Pistol worth over £500.00 will be the main raffle prize where every participant will have the chance to win.

This is a big milestone in terms of airsoft practical shooting as Europe has fully embraced the airsoft aspect of it. Whilst airsoft practical shooting is already very entrenched in Asia, airsoft practical shooting in this part of the world is still spreading its wings and we are keen on seeing its success.

Shooters be ready, we'll be seeing you all next week.
