Airsoft Squared, the planned Social Networking website for airsoft players around the world has finally started its beta phase. While we previously posted before that its grand opening to be was last February 2011, it has taken them time to get it to this phase, perhaps due to delays in the development. It can be understandable if the guys behind this project want to do it right.

Thomas, the founder, knows how social networks work, given that his Airsoft Hub at Facebook has now 222,000 members and still growing, making it the largest airsoft Facebook Page.

In a nutshell, this is what Airsoft Squared is all about as explained by Thomas: "Airsoft Squared brings useful databases, value-added contents and web-based collaborative tools to help you find, discover, create, publish, discuss, organize, promote and share Airsoft-related contents. Airsoft Squared which will be officially open to everyone in less than one month with its core functionalities:

1. Social network features: Create and manage your online profile, connect with players, receive wall and email notifications.
2. Scenario publication tool: Create, publish and share complex scenarios defining missions, teams, roles and rules of game.
3. Review publication tool: Create, publish and share Airsoft products reviews
4. Event publication tool: Create, publish and share your local and worldwide Airsoft events. Interact with players and customers thanks to the blog, discussions, photos and videos features.
5. Group publication too: Create, publish and share your Airsoft groups dedicated to teams, fields, brands and medias. Interact with players and customers thanks to the blog, discussions, photos and videos features. Add photos and videos.

Additional services and features are already in the pipeline."

We have 10 beta testers' accounts available, but we'll have 9 to be made available from our avid readers. If you are one of our avid readers, do contact us using our Contact Us page and we'll then evaluate if you get one of these accounts. We have reserved one of these accounts for our own purposes. We would require your short and constructive feedback once you're given access to the beta site.
