Airsoft Shooting Bar Turned Into A "Resident Evil" Restaurant

Gungho Cowboy

We're not done yet on stories about video games for this week as we still have one more. Only in Japan where you can find an Airsoft Shooting Bar. Though not exactly are they allowing airsoft shooting and drinking mix, as they have strict rules of not allowing you to target shoot with their airsoft guns when you're already inebriated. I would love to go to a bar which allows me to shoot airsoft guns. Too bad, there are not any around.

That's what "EA Shooting Bar" in Tokyo is about, apart from the Shooting Maid Bar which we reported here last time, it would serve as a great watering hole for airsoft players after a hard day's work in the urban jungles of Tokyo. But to get a new experience, EA Shooting Bar, from today, will be more known as "Resident Evil Restaurant" as CAPCOM converted the bar in commemoration of the 15th Anniversary of the "Resident Evil/Biohazard" video game series as reported by the Japanese game website, Game Watch.

The bar is redecorated with posters and designs from the video game. You will be greeted by the various zombies upon entering the restaurant. The paper targets are also Resident Evil. The main airsoft attraction of the event is the Tokyo Marui Samurai Edge Chris Redfield Limited Edition Airsoft Gas Blowback pistol which has been officially revealed during the 50th Shizuoka Hobby Show.

BIOHAZARD MENU

You can order food and drinks from the Biohazard-EA Collaborative Menu. You can have your shot of the "T-Virus" and "G-Virus Vaccines when you buy the souvenir glass for the vaccines. These are non-alcoholic.

They have a three herbal cocktail which you can mix three "powder drugs" of different colours and scan be served in a 12 -gauge "shotgun shell" shot glass.

As for the food, they have "Herb Salad Mix" for complete recovery and the "The Tofu Survivor". Even for the food, the theme of the restaurant is carried over.

During the opening of the restaurant, there were no people in Cosplay costumes in the photos, which is just unfortunate as it wouldn't be complete without them. Oh well, there are sill a lot distractions available at the restaurant with all the airsoft guns at your disposal to shoot the zombies away.

So if you're in Tokyo, and want to check this place out, the "Resident Evil Restaurant" is open from today, the 20th of May, to the 19th of June 2011. Afterwards, it will revert back to "EA Shooting Bar".
