Is it the state of the print publishing industry or is it incompetence? You judge for yourself but Airsoft International Magazine's distributor, Magazine Marketing Company (MMC), may about to go into administration (or receivership) as it is unable to pay about half of its publisher-clients. While publishers put out the content and titles, they usually rely on a middle group that handle the distribution part, ensuring that their titles appear at news agents, bookstores, and other shops.

Ebcon Publishing, the owner of the Airsoft International and Raider Magazines, has moved to a competing distributor, but is still owed around £50,000 to £60,000 by their former distributor. Good thing that they have moved early on or they might not be able to collect an even bigger amount if they have continued with the distribution arrangement.
