1,477 Players For Ground Zero Weekender 2013 & Counting

OptimusPrime

…and there is less than a week to book your slots as a great number of UK-based airsoft players, plus friends from other parts of Europe and even the US partake in the biggest airsoft event in the UK and one of the biggest and long-running airsoft events in the world: the Ground Zero Weekender National Airsoft Event which will happen on the 23rd to the 25th of August 2013. As of today, there are 1,477 players who have already booked and we expect even more to make their reservations in the following days.

The Others, the bunch of misfits and happy-go-lucky airsoft players who finally won Ground Zero Weekender for the first time in its history, are going to defend their win this year and we don't know if they'll be able to do it and we won't be surprised if they fail to. But will The Others still be under the leadership of Spud? We know they have a new 2IC, Danny from the Swiss Invaders.

Delta and Bravo will definitely continue the heated rivalry with their eyes of preventing The Others win again. We're sure that more efforts will be devoted by both groups for this year, they have a lot to make up to prove that they are still much to reckon with.

As for the weather, that is always the big question in the UK in August, if Ground Zero Weekender will be wet or dry. If given the experience this Summer, it will relatively be a dry weekend and it's going to be mild at night. But rain or shine, muddy or dusty, we really don't care as long as we to the dead zone and start the rain of BBs.

With the last Bank Holiday weekend before Boxing Day, we'll experience throngs of vacationers going for the beaches in the South and thus, the motorways will be clogged up on the way to Ringwood. So better plan your journey ahead.

As for us here at Popular Airsoft, we're already cleaning our camera lenses and of course our airsoft guns as we shoot with our cameras as well as with our airsoft guns. We don't want you having all the fun.
