Yas of Hyperdouraku recently attended the Victory Show Military Event that was held at the Tokyo Metroplitan Museum of Trade and Industry Centre last 25 September. This is also a regular show for militaria collectors and airsoft enthusiasts attend I think twice a year with the 1st one for this year was held last 26-27 March 2011.
It seems it is a good year for Surefire as they won the contract from the US SOCOM for the Family of Muzzle Brake Suppressors (FMBS) plus their flash hider and adaptors. The contract is a cool US$23.3 million though it wasn't mentioned the exact number of items to be delivered to the US SOCOM. Tier 1 operators will get all the best goodies that Surefire can provide to make them effective in the field.
The first time we read the title of crazyNCman's video "Youtube is Going to Build An AIRSOFT FIELD!" our initial reaction was, "What? Google's giving money to develop an airsoft field there?" Though the title is somewhat misleading, it is also correct in the aspect that crazyNCman is using YouTube to help raise money for the South Florida Airsoft Association to build an airsoft field.
Airsoft guns have been staples in creating films nowdays being low-cost and safer props, with indie filmmakers such as Beat Down Boogie, Freddie Wong, and others creating short video clips all loaded with action and airsoft guns and uploading these to YouTube. Coupled with movie effects software and cheaper HD DSLRs and camcorders, they can now make low cost movies which before was difficult to do without a good budget. And what usually make some of the most viral movies in Youtube is more of writing, and lots of creative imagination.

If you have heard the last from Heckler & Koch in their lawsuits against airsoft companies in the US last year, it's not yet over. Thank goodness for the power of search engines, I have found a story about the latest case that Heckler & Koch filed against a Texas-based airsoft seller, Generation Guns, via Continental Enterprises, and lost.
That's the catch gents and you will have to check which countries' armies are offering iPads for you to use, and they are not widely available in all branches of the armed forces. But if you're in the US, the UK, or Singapore, you might find some units using the iPad for use in the battlefield. Apart from the usual Facebook, web browsing, porn reading, email, IM, tweeting, you can get to bring the tablet to the fight.
Rail covers usually have a simple purpose, to protect rifle rail systems when not in use and provide a smoother grip for the operator. Another purpose is mainly cosmetic, giving the rifle some better look with a combination of colours and styles like the Magpul XTM Rail Panels. Other than that, they're a rather less appreciated weapon accessory as these have no positive impact in tactical effetiveness. For airsoft players, to good looks that rail covers provide is all that matters.
