As we always emphasize that airsoft players pay top dollar on their eye pro, sometimes we forget to think that apart from ballistic/impact protection we need that pesky fogged-up lenses banished away for good. There are several approaches to solving the fog problem, from lens solutions to some DIY solution, hole vents on the frame or lenses, or anti-fog fans.

Trittech takes the route of having anti-fog fans with the fans blowing off the fog with their patent-design. They call their eye wear product Air Raiders and the project is now on Kickstarter raising funds to turn their product into a commercial reality.

First, Air Raiders are sleek looking eye pros, with ANSI Z87+ replaceable polycarbonate lenses and provide maximum safety with the full seal frames. With Lensabl.com & Lensology.co.uk, these can be used with prescription glasses. The lenses are also photochromic adjusting the tint according to light conditions, ensuring clarity of vision.

The anti-fogging solution of Air Raiders does the opposite of other eye pros that use fans, which usually is to suck the moisture out whilst the Air Raider blows air into the interior of the lenses which then excess air is vented out. It also has a cooling effect with the breeze generated when air is blown into the lenses that can lead to less facial sweating.
The anti-fog system only requires just one touch of the button to operate. The rechargeable battery runs nearly all day and can be charged with the USB-C port found in the frame.

Almost US$10,000 has been raised for the crowdfunding campaign which has total of US$35,000 in funding goal with just over two weeks left before the campaign ends. If you think it is the eyewear you need, especially when other anti-fog solutions to your eye pro have failed, then why not back it? Sometimes backing such projects to get the required funding can also motivate their developers to improve on their solution even further.
