Hyperdouraku: Systema Type 89 Review

This is a follow up on the Systema Type 89 by Hyperdouraku after the first reveal by Systema Engineering this year and this is a review on the actual commercial package since it was released in July 2019. This is the third gun design from the Systema after the AR and MP5 platforms as the company attempts to stay relevant as more competitors in the training weapon area are coming. As always, this is a premium-priced AEG and will probably have customers mainly from Japan.

Hyperdouraku On The Systema PTW89

It has been ages since Systema Engineering added another PTW in its product line up. Put on display at the Training Weapon Festival that took place last weekend was the prototyoe of the PTW89, which obviously, is based on the JSDF Type 89 Rifle and this one comes with the M-Lok system. This follows the AR and MP5 PTWs from the Japanese company which are designs made available over a decade ago.

Systema PTW Recoil Model Limited Release

An update from Kumi Systema Engineering on the release of the Systema PTW Recoil Model. They will be releasing three versions: Training Weapon M4-A1-MAX2 Recoil Model, Professional Challenge Kit  M4-A1-MAX2 Recoil Model, and the Ultimate Challenge Kit  CQBR-MAX2 Recoil Model. For those who are wishing for a Systema PTW with a recoil feature, the wait is almost over. Systema Engineering will be taking pre-orders from resellers starting tomorrow, the 8th of August 2016. With patent already applied for this feature, initial orders will be on a limited basis, since they are looking into a backlog of orders and thus, orders will be fulfilled on a "first come, first serve" basis.

Hexmag For Systema PTWs Announced

Systema PTW owners now have a reason to make new magazine purchases with the announcement of the Hexmag Systema PTW version. Hexmag Airsoft claims that it allows optimal feed to PTWs and its spring loading system also acts as a shock absorber when it is dropped to the ground. Learn more about it in their press release:
