AirsoftNEXT features a first-person perspective of an airsoft match where the player is using an XM177E1 CGS gas blowback rifle (GBBR) just right out of the box. The action takes place in a variety of environments, ranging from open fields filled with stacks of tires and wooden pallets to the interior of dilapidated buildings.

Nextgen Retros has showcased his build of the Tokyo Marui XM177 E1 MWS Full Stock GBBR. The base gun for this build is the Marui MWS. The build incorporates a variety of components including a Nova M16A1 Receiver, a G&P Buffer tube along with a Buffer Kit, a Brownells XM177 Handguard, a Nova XM177E1 WA Steel Frontset equipped with an MWS Adapter, and a DNA M16A1 Stock.

G&P got a new AEG with recoil features in the form of the XM177E1 Free Float Recoil System. It comes with a 130-round magazine, an initial muzzle velocity of 380-400fps and has an FRS 8mm Bearing Gearbox. This is now in stock at WGC Shop... "New G&P Free Float Recoil System is a new type of ERG.
