Get ready to improve your handling and proficiency with the AK-47 in this video from the Tactical Rifleman... "One of my favorite videos is our 'Top-5 Shooting Drills for CQB.' This video got a lot of great comments and only a few complaints. As for complaints, several were just asking for drills for the AK family of rifles. Well, we do read all your comments (even if we don't respond to all), and we do listen. So, here our my favorite drills for use with an AK-47/74.
When it's getting cold you prefer shooting indoors and whether you use airsoft or real steel, there are some drills you can do inside indoor ranges. Tactical Rifleman shows you what these drills are... "Lots of comments from viewers complaining that they can't do any of our drills at their local ranges, because of strict rules forbidding 'draws' and 'Rapid Fire.'

Tactical Rifleman explains the importance to practice one handed shooting in this video... "I was shooting a USPSA match a few years back, and I got to a stage where the RSO read the stage description stating that this stage had to be shot 'Weak-Hand only.' He went on to say that both hands could be used to reload and handle malfunctions. So, why did I shoot it 'Weak-Hand only'? Well, because the RSO said I had to."
An interesting video from the Tactical Rifleman for those who play with weaponlights for use in darkened gamed sites or night games... "This week on Tactical Rifleman I wanted to cover the Pistol Shooting with Flashlights. Yes, we have already done this topic. It was actually one of our original videos, back when we first started this Channel. That’s because night shooting is very dear to my heart. 95% of our combat ops happened at night. Most home invasions happen at night. Why would you NOT want to be able to shoot in the dark?"
This is a very interesting topic from Tactical Rifleman that shooters should watch, and it is about the use of barricades in Close Quarters Combat... "You best believe that cover from incoming gun fire will be your best friend in that moment. Having a solid obstacle between you and a would be killer is a blessing in itself, but knowing how to properly use that cover is just as important.
The Tactical Rifleman considers the EOTech Greendot as the best CQB WeaponSight... "If you are watching the gun industry, like at SHOT Show next week, you’ll be hearing that EOTech is back in the “Good Graces” of SOCOM. Why? Well, because after all the tests, and all the years of bad media and recalls; EOTech is still just BETTER than the other red-dot sights out there."
Another drill from the Tactical Rifleman that you might want to follow... "Tactical Riflemen and Riflewomen out there, we want you to have solid fundamentals! Getting a ton of good and consistent repetitions of the fundamentals goes a long way in combat competency. This drill is our answer to the boring 'Up' Drills that are very necessary but not so fun to rep after a while.
Another tip from the Tactical Rifleman, especially when you are in a very awkward position in a gunfight, and you will have to practice such situations... "As stated in the video, if someone shoots at you or rushes you, there is a high probability that you will end up on the ground. There are risky ways to get up and there are effective ways to get back into the fight. Here are two techniques that will at least give you a plan in that situation.
