Actual Airsoft Reviews gives a tutorial on rewiring cut Tamiya connections for an AEG... "I picked up this gun for $20 at The Swamp Fun Park when I did my night airsoft video. They are located up in Gloucester, VA make sure to check them out! Only two things wrong with it was the cut wires and a blown fuse. I suspect who ever owned this was trying to replace the wires to another connection but never got around to it.
