The Taiwan MOA Exhibition becomes international again this year as Taiwan will open its borders to more international travel this month. Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic this trade event hosted by QRF Magazine has mainly been restricted to local companies and visitors due to strict quarantine and travel rules imposed the government to minimize the spread of the coronavirus which made Taiwan one of the least hit by the pandemic coupled by aggressive tracing and vaccination.

Whilst the MOA Exhibition is not as big as other trade events in the calendar of the airsoft community and industry, it is the most significant for airsoft. It is the de facto largest airsoft trade event in the world given that Taiwan is already the epicenter of the global airsoft industry and this is where the big and smaller airsoft companies in East Asia are able to announce their new and upcoming products.

In short, what you will see at the MOA Exhibition this year is what will be the industry trends for next year. The products and other innovations that will be on display in 2022 at the MOA Exhibition will be the rest of the airsoft world will see at next year’s trade events in Las Vegas (SHOT Show) and Nuremberg (IWA Outdoor Classics).

Popular Airsoft has been covering the MOA Exhibition on site since its inception in 2017 and virtually during the pandemic. With the ability to travel to Taiwan with fewer restrictions will allow us to be back again in Taipei and bring you what airsoft will be for 2023. We hope that there will be surprises during the event and will try to bring them live via livestream as long as we don’t encounter technical difficulties.
