We want more people to be in the hobby/sport and the best way to promote it is via media. But there are times that instead of the positive aspects being reported, it is always the bad news such as airsoft being used in criminal activities or being displayed publicly alarming people. But then there are efforts to give it exposure as it is and allow the viewers make their conclusions. RandomGuyKev talks about airsoft in the media and if it is good or bad.
As the SHOT Show 2014 gets going today, we post photos and videos of what is now an official tradition of the SHOT Show before the exhibit floor opens at Sands --- the SHOT Show Range Day. This is basically a full real steel range where shooters from various segments, including airsoft, try their hands on some of the finest firearms in the market today.
Airsoft GI launches Airsoft Media, a repository of airsoft photo in various categories. We haven't actually created an account to check how it works, but I guess you can upload your own photos to contribute to this. It's a nice project, if copyright considerations are sorted out. If these are for free downloads, then it's great for your airsoft artwork. I wonder of Airsoft GI allows a free download of their own works without any watermark?
