Strike Industries is continuing its great run of nicely designed accessories for the various weapons system. Its latest release is the GRIDLOK Handguard for the HK416 which is a mainstay weapon for a number of special operations units. The GRIDLOK Handguard gives the operator various ways to configure the HK416 in an easy way with its Quick Rail Detach GRIDLOK locking latch.

Now we just cross our fingers if the GRIDLOK can be made to fit airsoft HK416 AEGs or Gas Blowbacks with minimum modification or no modification at all.  The Quick Rail Detach GRIDLOK locking latch is its great strength and for airsoft players, the ability to change the configuration of the HK416 is a very attractive feature.

Made of 6061-T6 aluminum, there are two versions of Quick Rail Detach GRIDLOK locking latch. The first one is the Full Duty, which also comes with a full length Picatinny Rail on top. The other one is the Lightspeed which comes only with front/rear Picatinny Rail. It is compatible with the HK416/HK416 A5/HK416 A7/MR556/M27 IAR without ambidextrous sling attachment points and is not compatible with the HK416/HK MR556 with ambidextrous sling attachment points.

The handguards come with a flip-up front sight built-in with the muzzle end designed to accommodate suppressors up to 1.57” in diameter. They are now available to order from the Strike Industries website and prices range from US$351.95 to US$457.95 depending on the length.
