Testing Bushmaster Silencers For Airsoft

Rummbolt tests two airsoft silencers from Bushmaster, the "Core" and the larger "Compensator," to measure HPA sound reduction. Both models are constructed with high-quality carbon fiber and feature unique internal components, including dense acoustic foam and an "F flap," specifically designed to suppress the typical air-popping sound of HPA replicas.
The silencers were rigorously tested on a Wolverine MTW Billet Unleashed HPA rifle and compared against a popular Noich modular suppressor and a custom-built experimental silencer. The sound signature of each suppressor was measured from the shooter's position and at a 20-meter distance to accurately assess their real-world performance.
The results clearly showed that the Bushmaster Compensator was the most effective, virtually eliminating the air-popping sound, while the Core model also offered exceptional performance. He ends the video by choosing the Core for his rifle, as he felt its size and appearance were a better fit, even though the Compensator had slightly superior sound suppression.
