Riko Tactical: Finally a Good Airsoft Grenade

Riko Tactical deems the 40 Max Whirlygig 2 is a reusable airsoft grenade that functions like a high-stakes spinning top. Unlike older models that require complex maintenance or a degree in engineering to reassemble, this device is straightforward: you fill it with gas and up to 200 BBs, then twist the top like a pepper grinder to arm it. Its aluminum body and rubber ends make it durable enough to survive repeated tosses, though its lack of a mounting clip means it spends most of its life sitting in a pouch waiting for its moment of glory.
Once it hits a hard surface, the grenade uses physics to transform into a chaotic Beyblade of plastic pellets. Because the exit hole is on the side, the impact triggers a rapid spin that sprays BBs in every direction, reaching distances of nearly 30 meters. He even tested it in his own bathroom to see the dispersal pattern, which resulted in a constellation of BBs in the sink and a very loud ringing in his ears—proving that while it works remarkably well, it doesn't care much for your hearing or your cleanup duties.
At a price point that won't require selling a kidney, the Whly Jig 2 stands out for being practical and budget-friendly compared to disposable pyrotechnics. It relies on an impact trigger rather than a timer, giving opponents zero time to rethink their life choices before being showered in plastic. While the safety switch can be a bit stiff and it struggles to trigger on soft grass, it remains a solid choice for indoor players who want to clear a room without breaking the bank or losing small pins and levers in the dirt.
