Vietac shows the restoration and assembly of a Heckler & Koch G36K, utilizing parts sourced from decommissioned FBI firearms. The project combines a modern S5 receiver with authentic German components to bring the platform back to a functional state. Aside from the quad rails and foregrip, the hardware consists of genuine trade-in parts that were originally part of the federal agency's inventory.
The build features a variety of original German-made elements, including the handguard, stock, top rail, and trigger pack. Notably, the assembly incorporates a full-auto bolt carrier group, which is a specific detail highlighted during the technical overview. The process involves fitting these historical components onto the new receiver to ensure the firearm operates correctly while maintaining its original aesthetic and mechanical characteristics.
