In Peace Combat Magazine's Volume 71, Miyu Ozono visits a survival game field for a beginner's experience, admitting her previous exposure to airsoft was limited to a brief photo shoot with light equipment. Under the guidance of an instructor, she learns the fundamentals of handling a much heavier rifle. She practices the modern C-clamp grip and works on her stance, discovering that aiming is less about arm strength and more about moving her entire upper body like a seasoned professional, or at least someone trying very hard not to drop the gear.
Once the training wheels come off, Miyu joins a medic-style match where players can be revived by teammates after being hit. Despite the chaos of the battlefield and the initial intimidation of being shot at, she dives into the action with surprising enthusiasm. She navigates the obstacles of the field, shouting for help when tagged and relying on the support of her team to stay in the game. Her transition from a nervous novice to a focused participant is quick, even if the protective mask makes it a bit difficult for her to see where she is stepping.
The session concludes on a high note as Miyu manages to reach the objective and secure a flag for her team. Her instructors and teammates express genuine surprise at her bravery, noting that she ventured into risky areas where even experienced players might hesitate. Miyu ends the day exhausted but happy, finding the experience to be a great way to relieve stress, provided one doesn't mind a few tactical bruises along the way.
