"Location: Puktis Valley Paktia : Afghanistan. 12 months on from the success of UK forces in Operation Silent Harvest in the Puktia valley new intelligence shows the area has once again become a staging area for Taliban rebels working out of the training camps hidden in the mountains. There is also evidence that the Opium farms and transport networks are once again fully operational. 

It is suspected that several high ranking Al-Qaeda controllers are at present using one of the remote camps to train new cells ready for deployment around the world..."
