Mach Sakai presents a custom-modified Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 designed for upcoming shooting competitions. The focus is on improving accuracy at a distance of 10 meters, featuring a lightened magazine and an outer barrel that eliminates short recoil for a more stable shot. He also shows off some DIY adjustments, like filing down parts for a better fit and adding a red fiber optic sight because he simply prefers that color for visibility in dim settings.
He dives into the ergonomics of the grip, noting how rounding off specific corners makes a significant difference in comfort during rapid fire. After his chronograph decides to retire early and stops working, he moves straight to a performance comparison between the gas-powered custom and an electric Hi-Capa E. While testing at 5 and 10 meters, Mach Sakai discovers that each has its own personality: the gas version feels more intuitive for one-handed shooting, while the electric model stays impressively still during two-handed use.
Despite the technical focus, the atmosphere remains light as Sakai admits his love for strawberry shortcake—even if he doesn't get to eat it often. He states that while the electric version is technically easier to keep on target due to its lack of kick, the mechanical feedback of the gas-powered custom makes it a lot of fun to handle. He plans to keep tinkering with the build, proving that a competitive airsoft gun is never truly finished as long as there are more parts to swap.
