The batch (5 tonnes) was injection moulded on the nightshift by a rather tired chap who fell asleep Part of his job was to add the blue colouring to the raw material mix, so as the molten mix was squirted into the moulds, the balls got lighter and lighter in colour.

To cut a long story short, the customer went over the score making their point that they were not happy with the miniscule colour difference, the BB factory told them to go elsewhere and offered us the BB's at a highly discounted price to pass on to you Anyway, have a look at the photo (click on it for a close-up) and see for yourself.
