Flecktarn.co.uk just released new items for September 2007 comprising of first generation Desert Tiger Stripe BDUs from Bulle.  The BDUs are 100% ripstop and enhanced with extra pockets for the blouse and trousers. Other Desert Tiger Stripe items from Flecktarn are Boonie Hat, MICH Helmet Cover, and the PASGT NATO Helmet Cover. Also released for this month is the German Desert Flecktarn Parka.

Bulle US Desert Tigerstripe Boonie Hat
Made in pre-shrunk 100% ripstop cotton, the Bulle desert tigerstripe boonie hat is wide brimmed, fitted with ventilation holes on left and right, and also provided with a sewn-down loop of webbing on the outside of the crown for the attachment of camouflage material. The desert tiger stripe boonie hat may be worn low over the head, or high on the head, depending on the strength of the sun and where protection from sunlight is required. Boonie hat comes with chinstrap and adjustable leather tab. The desert tigerstripe pattern is favoured by US and UK special forces and is an excellent third option to the traditional British Desert DPM and US desert tricolour. Sizes are from Small (56cm or 7inches) to XXL (64cm or 8inches).

Bulle US Desert Tigerstripe MICH Helmet Cover
Made in pre-shrunk 100% ripstop cotton, the Bulle desert tigerstripe MICH helmet cover is designed to fit the MICH 2000 helmet. Velcro strips are provided along the base of the cover for attachment to the velcro pads on the interior of the helmet. The cover has a velcro-opening flap in the rear for comms gear, and has buttonholes throughout for attaching camouflage material. The desert tigerstripe pattern is favoured by US and UK special forces and is an excellent third option to the traditional British Desert DPM and US desert tricolour. Helmet shown in detail pictures is for modelling and does not come with the cover.

Bulle US Desert Tigerstripe PASGT NATO Helmet Cover
Made in pre-shrunk 100% ripstop cotton, the Bulle desert tigerstripe PASGT helmet cover is designed to fit the PASGT and NATO helmet. A drawstring is provided at the bottom hem of the cover to enable it to be drawn tight onto the rim of the helmet. This enables the cover to fit a variety of helmet shapes which are roughly similar to the medium sized PASGT helmet shell. The desert tigerstripe pattern is favoured by US and UK special forces and is an excellent third option to the traditional British Desert DPM and US desert tricolour. Helmet shown in detail pictures is for modelling and does not come with the helmet cover.

Bulle US Desert Tigerstripe Enhanced BDU Shirt
Improved specification desert tigerstripe BDU shirt in pre-shrunk 100% ripstop cotton. The desert tigerstripe pattern is an sand and brown coloured adaptation of the traditional 'jungle' tigerstripe pattern made famous by US Special Forces in Vietnam. Fabric is dyed through for colour fastness. The enhanced desert tiger stripe BDU shirt features: four bellows pockets on front, upper arm pockets with velcro on both arms, central concealed-button down front, elbow reinforcement patches which open with velcro for the insertion of padding, classic BDU collar and tapered fit. The four pockets make the shirt suitable for wear as a BDU jacket to be worn over trousers. Seams are double reinforced for durability. Sleeves have two stage adjustable button cuffs. The desert tigerstripe pattern is favoured by US and UK special forces and is an excellent third option to the traditional British Desert DPM and US desert tricolour. Sizes run from Small (36inch chest, 65inch overall height) to XXL (54inch chest, 74inch overall height).

Improved specification desert tigerstripe BDU trousers in pre-shrunk 100% ripstop cotton. The desert tigerstripe pattern is an sand and brown coloured adaptation of the traditional 'jungle' tigerstripe pattern made famous by US Special Forces in Vietnam. Fabric is dyed through for colour fastness. The enhanced desert tiger stripe BDU pants feature: two pleated leg pockets, two flat lower leg pockets, two hip pockets, two button-down rear pockets, drawstring and button waist, zip fly, reinforced seat, reinforcing knee patches which open with velcro to allow insertion of padding, ankle drawstrings to allow trousers to be drawn tight and bloused without use of trouser twists. Seams are double reinforced and overlock stitched for durability. The desert tigerstripe pattern is favoured by US and UK special forces and is an excellent third option to the traditional British Desert DPM and US desert tricolour. Sizes run from Small (31inch waist, 65inch overall height) to XXL (48inch waist, 74inch overall height).

German Desert Flecktarn Parka
Genuine issue three colour desert flecktarn parkas as used by German troops in Afghanistan. Made of the same heavy weight materials as the standard green issue parka, the desert flecktarn parka provides a warmer outer layer over the thinner tropical weight desert uniform. The parka features an integral hood, central zip and press button opening, two slanted zip pockets at the hip, two button down bellows pockets on the chest, drawstring hood, waist and bottom hem, velcro adjusted sleeves, velcro down epaulettes, and zip opening armpit ventilation gaps. Jacket size is larger than recommended body size in order to accommodate cold weather mid-layers, such as fleeces, parka liners and thermal clothing under the parka.
