Better visit the Facebook page to coordinate with the rest..."WE NEED YOUR HELP! We need as many individuals as possible from the following districts of California to show up on July 02, 2012. 11:00am. Senator De Leon requested to have SB1315 "re-voted" without revision on July 3rd. Save California, save the police officers and save our state!

  • SB1315 is Federal preemption conflict. It destroys existing laws that are perfectly fine because of an incident where one individual violated the law.
  • (Paintball) Industry favoritism to their industry’s hiring of Mercury and Fabian Nunez.
  • Federal study has shown that coloration of an object/toy gun does not affect police response
  • Coloration can cause hesitation in police response to a perceived gun threat and potentially endanger an officer
  • Increased potential of lawsuits against LAPD for wrongful shootings if the gun’s color complies with SB1315 requirements but the officer reacts with lethal force based on LAPD’s current use of force policy and training.
  • Probably most important at this time for the City of Los Angeles and the State of California is the economic impact from further loss of an industry presence in state and/or a legal fight by our industry against this bill if passed.

Districts: Baldwin Hills, the Crenshaw District, Culver City, West Los Angeles, portions of Mar Vista, Westwood, Cheviot Hills, Holmby Hills, portions of Century City, Leimert Park, Windsor Hills, Ladera Heights, Little Ethiopia, the Fairfax District and South Los Angeles."
