Gas blowback pistols dominate the airsoft sidearm market, but AEPs still are here to give a stiff fight. Fulcrum talks about the relevancy of AEPs... "Gas-blowback pistols are of course awesome. AEPS (automatic electric pistols) are usually looked down upon by many an airsofter. They're considered beginners toys. But the fact is they're far more dependable in adverse conditions than any GBB. Granted there's a few compromises, but if something is unreliable then performance is irrelevent.
