The morning of the 10th of November, which is the final day of the MOA Exhibition 2024, still brought more crowds to check the latest in the airsoft industry. My first order of business was to drop by the booth of Archwick company boss Nelson introduced to us the new products, updates items and what are in the pipeline. This was followed by going to the ICS Airsoft booth where the latest in the Daniel Defense licensed AEGs were on display.
Rushing to Maple Leaf, James demonstrated the gas-powered bolt action AR rifle they have been developing and once you see the video, you'll find it interesting how it works. He also showed the quick barrel change method, reducing time to remove the handguard and taking out the inner barrel. Also, they have a new PDW stock that can go with a compact airsoft AR.
Next up was Model Work Airsoft where they have upgrades for the Tokyo Marui MWS and Glock gas blowback as well as allowing for a good customisation of the look. From there, Zafir of Arcturus Tactical/MOS Manufacture talked about the features of the first gas blowback pistol they are developing. You'll find out more once the videos have been uploaded to the Popular Airsoft YouTube Channel.
By late afternoon, Clarence Lai of the CL Project showed the latest projects for gas blowback pistols after I talked with ITP where they presented new products for gas blowbacks such as the Marui SAIGA-12 SBS and the KSC Skorpion. As always, his designs to enhance the performance of gas blowback pistols are always of excellent quality with much thought put into them. And to end my tasks of taking videos of interesting products, I rushed to check out the Nexus HPA engine made by Mechlabs and it is attracting the attention of speedsoft players.
There is much to say about the event, and the videos that will follow will show why what was on display at the MOA International Exhibition 2024 are some that airsoft players should look forward to by the end of the year. With the biggest MOA event so far, Eric Chu of QRF Magazine, which is the organiser of the event, has something to look forward to in 2025. His aim of making MOA International the biggest Airsoft Trade event has been reached and by the looks of it, he can even make it bigger in the following year.
Some patience required for the videos as we still need to process them.
See you in Taipei next year.
