John Krasinksi will be back again for another eight episodes in Season 3 of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan after three years and it will be just in time for the Holiday season as it will stream on 21 December. If you are willing to forego the usual “Die Hard” binge then you can find time to do binge watch Season 3 if Amazon Prime Video will drop all episodes in one go.

For this season, CIA agent Jack Ryan will be on the run as he finds himself wrongly implicated in an international conspiracy that he himself is investigating. Now a fugitive on the run, he had to travel across Europe in a bid to clear his name and at the same time try to save the world.

That’s already a tough task for Ryan and even tougher as he tries not to get killed in the process.

In this season, another major character will soon join the, Michael Peña will be appearing near the end of the season as Ding Chavez. We are wondering if John Clark who is also a major character in the Jack Ryanverse would soon be making an appearance and if it would happen, would it Michael B. Jordan who played in the role in “Without Remorse” also on Amazon Prime Video.

Definite coming back to join Krasinksi is Wendell Price, who plays the role as James Greer who has been posted as Station Chief in Karachi, Moscow and Caracas. As he struggled with his health in Season 2, he’ll be more desk-bound as Station Chief. Dr Cathy Mueller was played by Abbie Cornish is not expected to be back for Season 3 and she only appeared in Season 1.

Joining in Season 3 are Betty Gabriel, as Chief of the Station Elizabeth Wright, James Cosmo as Luca, Peter Guinness as Petr, Nina Hoss will be playign the role Alena, and Alexej Manvelov is cast as Alexei.

Filming of the season still needs to be wrapped up and that is why there is no trailer or teaser released with this update. The shooting scenes took place in the UK, Colombia, Russia, Canada, Morocco and the US.
