Virtual-Shot

If you are unable to go to the airsoft field or shooting range to get some trigger time due to the weather or you’re still under Covid-19 lockdown, you can now get some shooting time using your airsoft gun and your smartphone with the Virtual-Shot.

Made by Simulation Training Group Pty Ltd, a company put up Australian veterans, Virtual-Shot it is not only a shooter game app in which you use your mobile phone as a controller as well. This will require that you have an airsoft gun, a gel blaster, or a even a real steel weapon as long as there is no round inside these and have an empty magazine (or no magazine inserted) since you will be needing to pull an actual trigger when using the app.

If you are already an airsoft player who owns an airsoft gun and a smartphone, all you need to get is a rifle mount that can be installed on any picatinny rail to hold the mobile app into place. The Virtual-Shot app needs to be installed in the smartphone that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

The Rifle Mount attaches to any picatinny rail and holds a mobile phone behind the eye piece ready to use the Virtual-Shot app.

Once setup, there are different modes to use such as a customizable shooting range, hunting game, mini games, shooting arcade, and of course zombie mode. To improve your shooting, there is an Advanced Shot Analytics so you can study and improve your shooting and a virtual shooting training course taught by a veteran ex-Army sniper.
Expected to be released in August 2021, the company is taking pre-orders at 30% off the launch price. If you are interested, all you need to do is go visit their website and enter your email address.
