It’s time to gear up to help raise funds for wounded veterans on the 13th of November at Tower Airsoft in Billericay, Essex. The DinkSquad are hosting the event and with many airsofters being veterans, Help for Heroes is the charity closest to their hearts.

Help for Heroes are doing a fantastic job raising funds to help veterans, with most of the funds raised from the private sector with government support is just a small part of what they raised. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic the organisation is experiencing a drop in income as stated on their FAQ section:

In 2019/20, thanks to our amazing supporters, fundraisers and partners, we raised a total of £24.4 million in support of our wounded. Whilst our deficit reduced compared to the previous year, our recurring income has fallen considerably due to the impact of Covid-19.

Our events income was down by 85 percent, income from our national collections reduced by 88 per cent, community fundraising income was down by 37 per cent and in-memory income fell by 25 per cent.

However, with lockdown restrictions easing and with your ongoing support, we are already making plans to return stronger than ever, with some incredible fundraising events planned for the rest of 2021 and beyond.

That is a big drop of income for the charity organisation which has already helped 26,500 individuals since it was founded in 2007. With more to help in the future, the airsoft community in the UK can step up and help in its funding needs.

We The DinkSquad Airsoft Team are organizing a Help The Heroes Charity Game.

The game is at Tower Airsoft in Billericay on 13th November 2021.

To book a spot which are Limited, contact Dyerz_Airsoft or DinkSquad_Airsoft plus you can message them on Facebook.

A spot are 5 pound deposit which 100% goes to the Charity and on the day it’s a 25 pound for your game or if you are needing a Rental, it’s 55 pounds on the day.

We also will have a raffle on the day with some great prizes and tickets will be on sale on the day.

People will have to bring own food and drinks as there is no food truck on site. You can bring a BBQ or stoves.

Spaces are going quick so make sure you get your spot for a great day.

The raffle prizes are a sure attraction to this event as the DinkSquad has gathered the prizes from different sponsors for the event.
